Christopher Barry, Senior Vice President, Digital Media and Business Strategy, Sundance Channel

Christopher Barry is Senior Vice President, Digital Media and Business Strategy for Sundance Channel. Christopher’s responsibilities include overseeing the Network’s website, including content strategy, sponsorship integration, original video production and creative design. Christopher also manages all third-party partnerships and is charged with extending Sundance Channel’s content to mobile and electronic sell-through platforms. Christopher recently led the Network’s digital activity on YouTube, Yahoo, iTunes, Verizon’s VCast, Hulu and Second Life. In 2008 sundancechannel.com more than doubled the site’s monthly unique visitors, doubled site pageviews and tripled the site’s video views. Under his direction the digital group has received numerous accolades including winning the 2009 Webby Award for Best Movie and Film Website.

Prior to joining Sundance Channel in 2003, Christopher was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division (Media and Communications Corporate Finance Group). Christopher also worked as a Financial Consultant with Arthur Andersen in Chicago.

Christopher earned his MBA from Columbia Business School with Beta Gamma Sigma honors along with a Master of International Affairs from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Public Accountant.
